Content in this website was firstly the outcome of much work by John Orton, a long time friend and admirer of Tom, in writing his biography, digitising all his original scores and compiling the midi files there from, this process in constant co-operation with Rob Crausaz of USA (see links) Secondly from Marilyn Gordon for the photographs, audio tapes and video recordings she had taken at Toms concerts from which were extracted the mp3 files on this site. John Orton is the author of "The Five Stone Steps" ISBN 978-1-910223-17-8 and "Blitz Pams" ISBN 978-1-910223-82-6 : Astonishing tales much derived from the memoirs of Tommy Gordon's farther. This website has been compiled by Gordon 'Doc' Forster (gkf @ forsters . org . uk) of Newcastle, also a friend who played jazz clarinet with Tom in the fifties then in 1958 with the 'Mighty Joe Young Band' in 1958 just before its big reform
